Associations for Writers

Writing does not have to be a lonely business. There are organizations and associations galour founded and maintained to give authors a forum for the free exchange of ideas and tips in the vast and ever-changing arena of wordcraft.

Presented here are only a few such organizations. There are others, most of which are reachable through the Net. We suggest that any new writer should seek and join as many of these groups as is appropriate. These organizations offer advice on what to write, how to write, how to sell what you write, how to find a publisher, how to find an agent, etc, etc, etc.

There's strength in numbers, after all.
